On Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at RVCC HQ at Raleigh Court Public Library, NM Russell Potter conducted his ever-popular Beat-The-Master Contest, a contest pitting the Master against several opponents simultaneously.
Through sheer pluck and tenacity, youth triumphed, as Christian Dotson and Isaac Spence both managed to beat the master! There were no draws. Ben Dubuque was the toughest to beat, and Ray Megginson was 2nd toughest.
Thanks to all who participated, including the master and his opponents. As always, we express our gratitude to the Raleigh Court Branch Public Library for hosting our club.
